Our Philosophy:

Customers Come First

At Mississippi Iron Works, we believe that there is a perfect union between keeping a home or business both secure and beautiful. We strive to make that vision a reality every day.  Above all, our philosophy – our customers come first at Mississippi Iron Works. Our staff will walk you through several phases of the customization process.

We recognize that purchasing a custom iron product is a major investment. Our sales department will coordinate an initial consultation where a representative will iron out the details of the request. We will determine the purpose of your product to ensure not only that you get exactly what you want, but the product of choice should also fit your needs.

Once a design is determined by our representative, certain projects require our graphic artists to render a drawing. As soon as our customers approve the design, we will begin taking the necessary steps to order materials and bring the project to life.

Over the years, we have compiled an extensive photo gallery to inspire customers on their next project, whether an interior or exterior custom design.  For example; front entry iron doors in doubles or singles, custom staircases, single and double gates, entry gates, fences, door enclosures, etc. If you can envision it, we can build it.

A Strong Foundation

The majority of our product line is custom-made and handcrafted at our warehouse in Pearl, Mississippi. Mississippi Iron Works combines generations of welding experience in the metal works industry. We believe our work and craftsmanship speaks for itself.

Moreover, Mississippi Iron Works has the expertise to style and construct your next home or commercial project. From start to finish we will set you apart! We can guarantee that you will have a unique, one-of-a-kind piece with lasting value.

Our Mission:

MISSION STATEMENT

As we mentioned before in our recent Iron Entry Door Installation Blog, iron doors aren’t perfect. According to the American Society for Testing & Materials, if you can’t see the issue from 10 feet away it is NOT a defect.

Below are detailed instructions on how to come up with this conclusion.

  1. Move away from the glass

  2. Stand back 10 feet

  3. Face the glass straight on at 90 degrees

  4. View in daylight but not direct sunlight

  5. Inspect the central 80% portion of the glass

Our custom iron doors are hand loaded and wrapped for protection but it is not uncommon for the doors to suffer some minor scratches in shipping, unloading, and installation. Our custom entry doors are built one at a time, and a certain amount of imperfection is to be expected. Our iron doors are one-of-a-kind works of art and some of the marks add character and authenticity to the door.

APPLYING TOUCH UP PAINT

You CAN NOT touch up a small area of a powder-coated item with powder. Our custom doors CAN be touched up with a color-matched, two-component polyurethane liquid paint by brush on or spray. The extra layer of paint will be a benefit and will provide even better durability over time.
